A pre-school class designed to support individual development for a mixed age group with a focus on kindergarten readiness (4-k). This class offers children
freedom of choice with an emphasis on independence, self-help skills and problem
solving. The curriculum follows monthly themes expanding with child-initiated
and teacher-initiated activities for children to learn through play.
Small group and special activities are incorporated into the daily classroom schedule.
The summer curriculum includes an opportunity to bring daily learning activities
outdoors. Children will experience snack time on the deck, outdoor art, gardening,
water play and much more.
Children in Rainbow class will need to pack a daily lunch and drink. A child-sized sleeping bag is required for nap period. Please have all items clearly labeled with your child’s name.
