Academic School Year: September - May

School begins the day after Labor Day and ends the Friday before Memorial Day. A school calendar is determined each year and provided in enrollment packets before the start of the current school year. (Refer to calendar)

In addition to the descriptions below, the curriculum at TNPC revolves around the "whole" child. Teachers facilitate learning by building on the child's natural curiosity and motivation to explore his/her world. Language, math, science, small and large motor skills, art and music are naturally integrated in all areas of our learning environment and curriculum.

The curriculum follows monthly themes, expanding with the interests of children as they learn through play.

Extend your child’s part day pre-school experience with lunch bunch. Pack a lunch for your child and have him/her join friends in the multi-purpose room. The teacher will read stories to children while they eat lunch. After lunch, children have the opportunity to interact with friends inside or on the playground.

Full Tuition is due the 1st of each month. Monthly payment plans need Director approval.
City and County assistance is accepted.

Summer: June - August

Our summer program is an extension of our academic school year, June, July and part of August. The summer program operates with the same parental involvement as the academic school year; parents are required to provide a snack and drink for the class on selected parent snack days. Parents are also welcome to stay and parent help in the classroom on their snack day.

Children will also participate in large motor activities in the multipurpose room. The learning through play that occurs during the school year continues throughout the summer.

A relaxed summer school class designed for children to explore and expand through monthly themes. The classroom environment is spacious, with direct access to the playground. Daily activities will allow for freedom of choice in an environment filled with sensory, dramatic play, science, music, movement, and creative art. Children will have the opportunity to enjoy our wonderful playground, engaging in a variety of outdoor activities: gardening, picnics on the deck, outdoor art, water play and much more.

Children in Rainbow class will need to pack a daily lunch and drink. A child-sized sleeping bag is required for nap period. Please have all items clearly labeled with your child’s name.
