Tenney Nursery and Parent Center is a non-profit parent cooperative dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their families through high quality early childhood education and family programming.
Therefore, TNPC:
- Maintains a respectful, creative and nurturing environment.
- Attracts and retains high quality, well-trained and talented staff.
- Offers a variety of child development resources to a diverse community.
- Operates with a volunteer parent board of directors and uses sound business practices to maintain financial security.
- Provides a well-planned, organized and age-appropriate play-based curriculum.
- Supports the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of young children through nurturing relationships and a variety of programming options.
- Offers opportunities for parent participation in classrooms.
- Fosters connection between Tenney families and community members.
